It's simple! Bridges to Success: Mentoring for Transitional Years is looking for individuals with life experience to share, a passion for young people, or a simple willingness to be a friend. You can make a BIG difference with a small commitment! Mentors must be 18 years of age or older.

Our mentors go into the schools and meet with the students one on one. Mentors share stories, listen to the students, play games and just talk with the students.

How can I become a mentor?

1. Download a Volunteer Application and Background Check Release Form from the "FORMS" page on this website. Fill out both forms and send to:  Bridges to Success, 360 Colborne Street, Saint Paul, MN 55102 
2. Once your application has been processed and your background check is complete, you will be contacted and we will schedule you for a one-hour mentor training session.
3. We will match you with a student, and you will begin mentoring!!
4. Mentors are expected to visit their mentee at least once every two weeks at their school site during school hours. You may visit at any time that is convenient for you!!
