POTENTIAL CAN'T WAIT.

Bridges to Success: Mentoring for Transitional Years is a district wide, school-based mentoring program that matches 6th through 9th grade students from diverse cultures with caring adults who offer support and guidance to help them succeed in school!

The district wide mentoring program started out as two separate programs Chosen to Achieve: African American Mentoring and Hmong Mentorship but has since expanded to serve students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Our Programs include:

-Chosen to Achieve- African American Mentoring

-Hmong Mentorship

Bridges to Success: Mentoring for Transitional Years
also serves the Somali, Karen, American Indian, and Latino communities.

Below is a video showcasing the partnership between Chosen to Achieve: African American Mentoring and Securian Financial Group.

Research shows that youth with mentors are more likely to:

-Attend school more regularly
-Have a better attitude toward school and behave more positively
-Get better grades in school
-Show more respect toward family and other adults
-Improve relationships with their parents
